Booyah! Susanoo Cosplay Completed!

Okay, all the armor, weapons, and such are finally done after a year of both planning, design, and work, and just in time for otakon. It's a shame i can't enter my cosplay in the masquerade contest since its an original design but what can you do? Anyway, hope to have my gf help me take pictures of me in the armor for all to see. Anyway that's all I wanted to say.

Okay, so far my Susanoo cosplay is coming out great, i'll try and post pictures of the armor as I complete it, still waiting on the snake skin and spikes to arrive so I can add them to the armor pieces I've cut out. My cosplay actually gave me an idea for a masquerade skit but I would need someone who can cosplay Orochimaru (and do a similar voice though that I'm not really picky about, though someone who can sound like his Japanese voice actor would be awesome!) and a bankai Zabimaru sword. Hopefully I can finish Susanoo so then I can work on my pokemon trainer and my steampunk vampire hunter.

Well as some of you may know one of my cosplays for Otakon and other cons I'll go to is Susanoo, the Japanese god of Storms. Now the issue I'm having is what kind of character will I make this like? Should I go for a serious look or a Jiraiya-esque Kabuki look? One of the ideas I have for this cosplay is to have a snake eye contact in my right eye with a scar over it. Those who know the legend of Susanoo will know he fought and killed the Yamata no Orochi, the Eight-Headed Snake but they never describe the battle itself so I decided to make it that the snake got a lucky shot and got his eye so after he killed the beast he took one of it's eye
